Database Manager
The Hepsia Control Panel features a full-featured database management GUI, which will give you complete control over your DBs. You can easily set up new MySQL and PgSQL DBs and manage their content through the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin database administration tools respectively.
An Easy-to-Use Interface
With the Database Manager interface, you can create a new database in a matter of seconds - just specify its name and that's it. You will notice a list of all your DBs and their corresponding sizes. You will be able to alter passwords, to create backup files and to even log in to the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is quite important to create periodic backups of your DBs to protect your web site content and to abstain from any accidental data loss. With the Database Manager GUI, creating a database backup file is very easy. Just push the Backup button next to the database you want to back up and you will be instantly taken to the File Manager section from where you can download your freshly created backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PgSQL and/or MySQL databases that you can create differs depending on the web hosting plan that you have ordered. While MySQL is a very famous database management system used by 1 000 000's of users around the world, PostgreSQL is thought of as being a more innovative database management system and is mainly utilized by technically experienced website administrators. You can administer your MySQL databases through the phpMyAdmin software tool, while PgSQL DBs can be administered through the phpPgAdmin tool.
InnoDB Support
